What is Qi Gong

Qi Gong is an ancient practice for maintaining health and facilitating healing with its origins in China. Qi Gong has been the focus of many studies recently and it has been found to be affective in reducing the impact of many health issues including, chronic stress and high blood pressure. In addition to being benefical for existing health issues, Wild Goose Qi Gong is an excellent means of maintaining current good health.

What does a Qi Gong class consist of?

In a Qi Gong class you can expect to learn and practice the Wild Goose moving patterns as well as various types of meditation.   We will also explore other means of healing from time to time, including ways of curing and preventing headaches and backaches, the benefits of some of the wild herbs growing in our area, energy healing and more.

What is the Art of Longevity?

The Art of Longevity is a 6 week program that is a subset of the Wild Goose Qi Gong system. The program consists of three foundational areas – Meditation, Qigong and TaiChi. Over the 6 weeks you’ll learn two moving patters (1 qigong and 1 taichi), two meditations (seated and standing) as well as developing a solid understanding of energy and energetic connections from a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective. You will be able to use the techniques learned in this program as part of your daily healthy routine. Or, you can use this course as a foundation for further study in Wild Goose Qi Gong.
